1. Create your Nutin to-do application
We are going to build a basic CRUD application in the form of a to-do list.
Estimated time: 15-20 minutes.
Install the CLI
Nutin requires Node.js 24 or later.
npm install -g @nutin/cli
Create the application
nutin-new nutin-todo
Run the application
cd nutin-todo
npm run serve # Port 9090 - use npm run dev for watch mode
Project structure
src/
|---- app/
|---- components/
|---- services/
|---- views/
|---- globals.d.ts
|---- guards.ts
|---- main.ts
|---- routes.ts
|---- core // Nutin source code
|---- styles
components/, services/ and views/ are Nutin's suggested layout: the generator creates each element at the path you give it under src/app/, so that you can structure your app however you want.
How the pieces fit together
- Views orchestrate application flow
- Components encapsulate UI behavior
- Services handle application concerns
- Events connect them
