How do I configure Nutin?

Central configuration file

nutin.config.js - See inline comments in the actual file for details

  • i18n, tailwind, generateSEOFiles — top-level option toggles.
  • builder.{sass.paths, esbuild} — build pipeline behavior.
  • testinNutin.{includeFramework, includeTools, includeApp, coverage, jsdomOptions} — built-in testing toolkit.
  • dockerPorts, markdownSources - Nutin features configuration (only when related feature is present). See How do I use the Docker feature? and How do I use the Markdown feature?. nutin-add adds them to a single // Nutin features block.

The tooling-only keys (builder, testinNutin, dockerPorts, markdownSources) aren't shipped in the browser bundle.

Specialized configuration files

What is the difference between options and features?

Options can be toggled on and off in nutin.config.js

Features are added with nutin-add <feature> and can only be removed manually. Only their configuration lives in nutin.config.js
